KCOI is building a yard in a land plot of about 48 hectares, which is the property of the company and is located near the village of Akshukur (north of Aktau City) along the coast of Mangistau Region.
This location has been preferred because of the following characteristics:
- Ideal logistic conditions for staff and workforce thanks to short distance from Aktau City;
- Same advantages as of Aktau city in terms of climatic conditions, i.e. the sea is ice free sea in all seasons;
- Short distance (just 30 Km , i.e. <1/2 hour drive) from Aktau City and from Aktau international airport (about 8 km);
- Easy access to shop fabrication areas in "Aktau Sea Port" Special Economic Zone;
- Easy road transport of materials thanks to the good conditions of the road from Aktau City to the North.
